We are currently working with the Precision Engineering and Manufacturing Gateway (PEM), based in IT Sligo to explore the use of laser scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing for use in pattern making for metalwork casting (cast iron, bronze, brass, aluminium) and we are looking from something suitable to test the process.
If you are looking to reproduce, repair or make something which would have traditionally been sand cast please get in touch. We are particularly interested in the flexibility a 3D model will give in terms of manipulation, modification and resizing which is very difficult with traditional methods.

Recent Completed Project - Cork Model School Gates and Railings
​
We recently completed the gates and railings made for BAM for The Model School in Cork (Cork Courthouse) to match the existing 1860s railings and gates that were removed in the 1990s. All fixing in the stonework were in stainless steel including the bases of the uprights.
